An events pavilion is coming to Mary Elizabeth Branch Park at the northeast corner of Philomena and Aldrich streets. Designed by The Lawrence Group, the pavilion will have a simple, yet sophisticated design that will feature:
The pavilion is intended to provide a new and slightly larger home for Mueller’s popular biweekly farmers’ market, which currently operates on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings at the Browning Hangar. The Hangar has always been intended to be used in some other commercial capacity that has not yet been determined.
The new venue at Branch Park will be more centrally accessible to Mueller residents, employees and district parking garages; provide better cover to market vendors and attendees from the sun or rain; and offer more power outlets to those vendors who require them.
Additionally, the pavilion will be home to other events that require an indoor setting, such as seminars, art exhibits, and private or corporate events. Construction is set to begin in early 2020 and is estimated to be completed by the end of the year, weather permitting.
