On May 17th, we officially opened Mueller’s newest green space: Mary Elizabeth Branch Park! From the press ceremony Friday morning, featuring remarks by Council Member Kathie Tovo, Huston-Tillotson Vice President Wayne Knox and Catellus Senior Vice President Ken Blaker, to the community celebration Friday evening with our neighbors and friends, thank you to everyone who joined us for the festivities.
Named for noted former president of Huston-Tillotson University, Branch Park marks the seventh signature park in Mueller. It features amenities, including sand volleyball courts, a custom play airplane for kids to play on, a dog run and a unique interactive waterscape (which will be fully operational in the coming weeks). If you haven’t visited yet, we hope you’ll stop by and explore the new park soon!
